Jamshedpur, May 4: In a momentous achievement, Deepak Kumar, a resident of Jamshedpur Steel City, has been conferred the title of “Dr.” Deepak Kumar. The prestigious degree was awarded during a grand ceremony held in Lexington, USA, on May 4 (Indian time).
Dr. Deepak Kumar’s journey to this remarkable accomplishment began with his research at the Stanley and Karen Pigman College of Engineering in the USA. His doctoral work focused on gas-assisted electron beam patterning processes—an area of cutting-edge technology.
The proud parents of Dr. Deepak Kumar, Manju Singha and Pawan Chaudhary, also received invitations to attend the ceremony. Both parents actively participated in the celebratory event, sharing in their son’s success.
Dr. Deepak Kumar’s educational path reflects dedication and perseverance. He completed his schooling at ADL Society Sakchi before pursuing engineering studies at BIT Sindri. Later, he obtained an M.Tech degree. Undeterred by challenges, he embarked on a journey to the USA for his PhD studies, culminating in the successful completion of his doctoral program.
In a conversation, Dr. Deepak Kumar emphasized the importance of education and hard work. He pledged to contribute 100% of his research findings to relevant institutions, including those in India.
Notably, Deepak is the youngest member of his family. His elder brother, Rohit, serves as a manager at Indigo Airlines, while Sandeep, the middle brother, works at Tata Steel. Their father, Pawan Chaudhary, is a retired Tata Steel employee.
