Coronavirus tally in state reaches 99,045, recovery rate goes beyond 93 pc
Jamshedpur, Oct 23:�Growth of the novel�coronavirus cases is slowing down�in Jamshedpur. But we need to be careful during the festival season. �

The East Singhbhum district recorded 36 corona positive cases on Friday, October 23. Positive tally has climbed to 15506 while the death toll has reached 347 with two deaths reported on Friday. 50 people recovered of the virus taking the total recovery to 13988 while total active cases in Jamshedpur are 1171.
The district administration spokesperson informed that 36 corona positives have been identified in the East Singhbhum district on Friday. East Singhbhum district administration has conducted 101636 test per million in the district. The recovery rate in Jamshedpur is 90 % while the mortality rate is 2.2 %.
So far in Jamshedpur 283019 samples have been collected out of which 270554 have been tested and 255048 have turned out to be negative.
The recovery rate among the Coronavirus patients in Jharkhand has gone beyond 93 percent. The Coronavirus patients tally reached to 99,045 and total of 435 fresh cases of Covid-19 were detected across 21 districts in the state on Friday. During the day 3 deaths were reported including 2 from East Singhbhum and 1 from Godda district after which the overall death count has increased to 862 in the state. The mortality rate among the patients currently stands at 0.87 percent. As per the information provided by the health department the number of active cases in the state was 6,055 while number of cured and discharged cases stood at 92,128. The total number of death caused by Coronavirus in the state stood at 862. On Friday no case was found in Latehar, Saraikela and Pakur districts. On Friday a maximum number of 103 cases were found in Ranchi followed by 65 in Bokaro, 46 from West Singhbhum, 36 from East Singhbhum and Deoghar 28 districts (top five districts). A total of number of 499 people were also cured and discharged from various dedicated Covid-19 facilities during the day including 159 from Ranchi, 50 from East Singhbhum, 34 from Koderma, 32 from West Singhbhum and 28 from Deoghar. Despite the rampant rise in Coronavirus cases across the state the recovery rate of Covid-19 patients has improved significantly and has once gone above 93 percent mark to currently stand at 93.01 percent in Jharkhand. So far in the state 30,74,797 samples have been collected out of which 30,58,954 have been tested and 29,59,909 have turned out to be negative.
