City records 96 infections, 380 recoveries, 2 deaths
Jamshedpur, May 30: Jamshedpur registered more recoveries than fresh Covid-19 cases on Sunday when 96 new cases were detected and 380 people recovered from the infection in the last 24 hours, according to the health bulletin. The recovery rate has climbed to 95.40 % while the active cases have come down to 1360.
Jamshedpur continues to witness dip in the daily Covid-19 cases.
Jamshedpur recorded 96 positive cases while 380 people recovered of the virus on Sunday pushing the recovery mark to 47474 while the active cases have come below 1400 mark.
Deaths due to the virus continue to be sign of worry as 2 people succumbed due to Covid on Sunday, May 30, East Singhbhum Covid bulletin said.
During this period, a total of 2265 Covid
tests were conducted in Jamshedpur.
City reported 2 deaths on Sunday while district’s positive cases tally has mounted to 49848. According to the data provided by the East Singhbhum district health department on Sunday 2 fatalities were due to the Covid-19 infection in the last 24 hours. The death toll has climbed to 1014. The total active cases have come down to 1360.
East Singhbhum district administration has conducted 343519 test per million in the district. Sakchi locality of Steel City reported maximum of 15 cases Covid on Sunday.
As per the records of health department out of 2265 people who underwent Covid tests in East Singhbhum 96 were found positive.
As many as 47474 people have recovered from COVID-19 so far with 380 recoveries recorded in the last 24-hours. Over 2200 COVID-19 tests, including 233 RT-PCR and 1806 RAT were conducted in the last 24 hours in the city.
The recovery rate in Jamshedpur is 95.40 % while the mortality rate is 2.03%.
So far in Jamshedpur 916475 amples have been collected out of which 914447 have been tested and 864599 have turned out to be negative.
