Jamshedpur’s Baug-E-Jamsheed bags International Dimension in Schools Award again

Jamshedpur, March 16: A highly reputed School in Jamshedpur, Baug-E-Jamsheed School has been successful in achieving the British Council International Dimension in Schools (IDS) Certificate/Award for the period 2022-25.  The award was earlier known as the International School Award.

The certificate will be formally presented to the school in a virtual ceremony on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. IDS accreditation has always been a challenging project, more so on an online platform.

Baug-E-Jamsheed School team has been consistent in their commitment to innovation and international exposure for their students.

Principal of the school, Anu Tewary lauded the efforts of IDS Coordinator, Sita Meher Hiramanek and the team of teachers for their innovative implementation of the project on an online platform.

“Collaborative work was carried out with a school in Nepal, K.P. Montessori Child care and Center. This project and collaboration has added to the school’s repertoire of international connections,” said the Principal.

Baug-E-Jamsheed School thanked the parents for their continued support and wholehearted participation. 

Principal further said, “The school takes pride in stating that we have been accredited with this award for the third consecutive time. It was a privilege taking part in this prestigious programme of study and we hope that the scope of international activities will continue to develop and benefit the school community.”

International Dimension in Schools celebrates a school’s effort to include international work as part of their curriculum and helps embed it within the school’s culture. The programme supports schools in fostering an international ethos throughout the school and embedding it within the curriculum.
