Jamshedpur’s Anshu Sarkar receives title of Yoga Samrat

Jamshedpur, April 12:  Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhan Sansthan (VYAS) of West Bengal that had been formed for promoting yoga at the national level and highlighting its curative processes. Founder and Director of Sarkar Yoga Academy, the leading Yoga institute of Jharkhand state, Anshu Sarkar was honoured with the title, Yoga Samrat at the national meet. The honour was presented to Anshu Sarkar during the two day competitive event on April 9 and 10 for Vivekananda Yoga Gold Cup and the 30^th Himalaya Yoga Olympiad for selection for competition for South Asia and Nepal. The ceremony was organized by Dr Abhijit Ghosh, Founder and President of the VYAS Bengaluru chapter under the guidance of Dr HR Nagendra, the International Yoga Guru and Space Scientist. to Anshuabove ceremony was organized by Dr. Abhijit Ghosh, Founder President, Vyasa Bengaluru, under the guidance of Dr. HR Nagendra (International Yoga Guru and Space Scientist), for the two-day (9-10 April, 2022) Vivekananda Yoga Gold Cup and the 30th Himalaya Yoga Olympiad (Selection for South Asia, Nepal) national level yoga competition was organized. In its inaugural ceremony, Chief Guest Vyasa, Kolkata President B Dhanuka and Director Dr. Abhijit Ghosh jointly presented the title of ‘Shyog Samrat’ to Anshu Sarkar. Trophy, citation were given in this title. In the ceremony, the chief guest Dhanuka appreciated Anshu’s devotion towards yoga and wished him a brighter future. After getting this national level title (Yoga Samrat 2022), Anshu reiterated his resolve to spread yoga till the last breath of his life and strive for the upliftment of yoga. Yoga gurus from many states were present on this occasion. The competition was conducted by Dr. Loknath. It is known that before this Anshu Sarkar has received many honors in the country and abroad. In these honors, Yoga Ratnam, Samaj Ratna Seva Samman, National Gold Medalist, International Silver Medalist (Hong Kong) and many national and international level titles have been awarded.
