Jamshedpur, August 25: International Yoga Guru Anshu Sarkar who has been honored numerous times both in India and abroad, has added another accolade to his name. He was awarded the ‘Iconic Community Impact’ Award during the Asia Pacific Yogasana Sports Championship and Icon Award-2024, organized by the World Fitness Federation of Yogasana Sports International (WFFYSI) in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The ceremony was organized on August 22 at Hotel Marino Beach, Colombo, with participation from yoga experts across Asia.
Shivam Bhadauria, International President of WFFYSI, presented the award to Anshu Sarkar. The event was inaugurated by Chalaka Gajabaah, Chairman of the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau, under the Ministry of Tourism, Sri Lanka. Prominent figures such as Ritu Rawat, M Rajesh Acharya, Dr. Loknath Nath, and Tariq Warsi also attended the ceremony.
Anshu Sarkar, currently serving as the India President of WFFYS, has been widely congratulated for this achievement. Yoga enthusiasts, sports organizations, and well-wishers from Jamshedpur have expressed their joy and extended their best wishes for his continued success.
