Jamshedpur: Responding promptly to reports of a shortage of blood at the Jamshedpur Blood Bank, ten members of the social organization Aagaaz voluntarily donated blood, reaffirming their commitment to community service and humanitarian causes.
The blood donation drive was organized after the organization received information about the dwindling blood stock at the blood bank. Demonstrating a strong sense of social responsibility, the volunteers came forward to ensure that patients requiring blood do not face difficulties during medical emergencies.
Speaking on the occasion, Aagaaz Founder-President Inderjit Singh said that blood donation is one of the noblest forms of service as it has the potential to save multiple lives. He appealed to healthy individuals across society to donate blood regularly and contribute to maintaining adequate blood reserves for patients in need.
He added that Aagaaz has consistently been engaged in social welfare initiatives and remains committed to serving the community whenever required. The organization also urged citizens to become more aware of the importance of blood donation and participate in such humanitarian efforts on a regular basis.
Several prominent community leaders were present to encourage and appreciate the donors. Among them were Amrik Singh, President of the Central Sikh Naujawan Sabha, Inderjit Singh, Founder-President of Aagaaz, and Jagpreet Singh JD, President of the Sarjamda Naujawan Sabha.
The blood donors included Sukhdeep Singh, Sukhdev Singh Goldy, Amanjot Singh Lal, Sanjay Karua, Puneet Kumar Das, Rajdeep Singh, Surendra Singh, Harshdeep Singh, Amar Machhua, and Gurbachan Singh.
Expressing gratitude for the initiative, Sanjay Chaudhary, Head of the Jamshedpur Blood Bank, thanked the organization and the donors for their timely contribution. He also felicitated the blood donors with gifts as a token of appreciation for their selfless service.
