Jamshedpur, June 8: Abhishek Mishra, who was shot in a dispute with the courier of Sahara City, Mango, Jamshedpur, was referred to Apollo Hospital in Kolkata for high-level treatment. The bullet lodged under his chest could not be removed in a five-hour operation at Tata Main Hospital (TMH).
When the doctors did a thorough examination after the operation, it was found that the bullet had partially damaged the L1 of his spinal cord, due to which he would have difficulty in walking, so he was taken to a big hospital for high-level treatment. He was taken to Kolkata in an ambulance on Thursday morning. BJP leader Vikas Singh, who reached the spot, said that at present Abhishek is out of danger.
