Jamshedpur youth stabbed to death over minor dispute

Jamshedpur, October 31. A clash broke out between two parties following a minor dispute late Monday night near Gadda Vikas Bhawan under Parsudih police station leading to death of a youth due to stabbing.

A 22-year-old local resident Ashu Kewat died while his friend Bhola was injured.

After the incident, the family members have lodged an FIR in Parsudih police station. Ashu used to work as a DJ-box player. His friend Roshan told that late at night Ashu was installing wires in the nearby electric transformer.

Meanwhile, Suraj Jaiswal, a resident of the neighborhood, came and told him that the electricity in his house could be cut off by installing wires. A dispute started between the two regarding this matter. Amidst the dispute, Suraj’s younger brother Shubham also came and together they started beating Ashu. When Ashu’s friend Bhola, who was nearby, came to intervene, the two brothers attacked Ashu and Bhola with knives.

Roshan told that after the incident, both of them were taken to Sadar Hospital for treatment in injured condition.

From where both were referred to TMH. Since there were no beds in TMH, doctors advised to take RIMS. Ashu died on the way while taking RIMS.

According to Roshan, Ashu was stabbed three-four times with a knife on his chest. Here, when the police raided the house of the accused, everyone was absconding. Police have started searching for the accused.
