Jamshedpur youth injured in sharp weapon attack

Jamshedpur, July 5:  A troubling incident unfolded near Nirmal Nagar TOP in the Sonari police station area on Friday, resulting from a longstanding dispute between two youths. The altercation escalated when one of them, Rahul Karmakar, allegedly attacked Vinay Bagti with a sharp weapon, causing injuries that required medical attention at MGM Hospital.

Vinay Bagti sustained wounds to his back and near his right eye during the altercation. Recounting the incident, Vinay mentioned that he was returning home on his bike when Rahul approached him near Nirmal Nagar TOP, leading to a heated argument. Matters escalated quickly as Rahul reportedly produced a sharp weapon and assaulted Vinay.

According to Vinay, tensions had been simmering for about a month following a previous dispute involving Rahul and his associates. The police have initiated an investigation into the matter to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident and take appropriate action.
