Jamshedpur, June 22: A youth, identified as Amit Manjhi, got seriously injured after falling from a Jamun tree on the Kandra Station Road on Wednesday. He was taken to MGM Hospital where doctors advised him to go to RIMS, Ranchi, for better treatment.
Sources said the victim had climbed up the large Jamun tree with his friends. Suddenly, he slipped from the branch of the tree and fell on the hard ground below. Local villagers rushed to the spot and called the ambulance.
