Jamshedpur youth dies after consuming alcohol, family suspect murder

Jamshedpur, September 11: Avinash Kumar (32), resident of Sonari Panchvati Nagar, died after drinking alcohol with friends in Namda Basti, Golmuri. The incident happened on Sunday evening.

 Meanwhile, family members have expressed suspicion of murder in this case. The deceased’s father Sudarshan Singh has lodged an FIR in Golmuri police station accusing Avinash’s associates Atish Prasad and Rishabh of murder.

Sudarshan told the police that Aatish and Rishabh had taken his son Avinash with them. After partying, everyone left the house saying that they would return by 2.30 pm. After time passed, when Avinash called on his mobile, his partner picked up the phone and said that Avinash’s health had deteriorated and they were taking him to the hospital. On reaching the hospital it was found out that he had died. After the complaint, the police is interrogating both the friends.

Avinash’s friend Aatish told that everyone drank alcohol at his house and after eating mutton, everyone was preparing to go to their respective homes. Meanwhile, Avinash’s health started deteriorating. He lay down at home, but when his health became worse, he was taken to Tinplate Hospital where he died.
