Jamshedpur: Trafficked victim’s family accuses police of negligence

Jamshedpur, September 11. After selling two minor sisters of Kalindi Basti of Parsudih police station area on the pretext of getting them work in Rajasthan, one sister somehow escaped to her home. On Monday, the family reached the SSP office regarding this matter

During this time, family members have raised questions on the working style of Bagbera Police. The family members allege that the police is not helping them in bringing back their younger daughter.

At the same time, if the elder daughter is not sent back to Rajasthan, the younger daughter is being threatened with death. The elder daughter somehow escaped from the clutches of the accused and reached home but the younger daughter is still in Gujarat.

The elder sister, who had returned after running away from Rajasthan, told that Tulsi Kalindi and Tiger told both the sisters that they would get them work in the station. Took both of them to the station and then gave breakfast to me and my sister. After breakfast both sisters became unconscious.

When she regained consciousness, she was in Rajasthan. Both of them were made to sit for two-three days and then they were told that you have to marry an elderly man. Somehow she stole money from home and reached the nearby station and took a train from there and returned back to Jamshedpur. The younger sister is still stuck there.
