Jamshedpur youth commits suicide in Sonari

Jamshedpur: A deeply distressing incident was reported on Saturday from the Joggers Park area under Sonari police station area, where a 21-year-old youth, Pradeep Ram, committed suicide.
According to preliminary information, the youth had reportedly been upset following a minor domestic exchange earlier in the day, during which his mother had scolded him. Authorities believe he became emotionally distressed and withdrew to his room, locking the door from inside.
When there was no response for a prolonged period, family members grew concerned and repeatedly knocked on the door. Receiving no answer, they eventually broke it open, only to find him hanging. He was immediately taken to Tata Main Hospital, where doctors declared him dead after examination.
The tragic incident has left the family devastated. His mother is inconsolable and reportedly blaming herself, while a pall of grief hangs over the neighborhood.
Police have initiated an investigation to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident.
