Jamshedpur, July 6: Sumit Kalindi (30), a resident of Garhwan Patti under Parsudih police station of Jamshedpur, committed suicide by hanging himself.
On getting information about the incident, wife Lakshmi Karmakar informed the police. After getting the information, the police reached the spot and sent the dead body for postmortem.
Regarding the incident, Lakshmi told that Sumit was demanding Rs 500 on Wednesday night to get drunk.
On refusing to give the money, he locked himself in the room. After having dinner, he went out to take a bath. His body was found in the courtyard in the morning. Sumit hanged himself with the help of a scarf on a bamboo buried in the courtyard. Presently the police is investigating the matter.
