Jamshedpur: In a recent enforcement operation near the Adityapur Kharkai Bridge, the Bistupur traffic police made a significant seizure of thirty litres of illicit country liquor, leading to the arrest of an individual found in possession of the contraband. The police also confiscated a Honda Activa scooter from the apprehended suspect.
According to police officials, the incident transpired during routine vehicle inspections conducted by the traffic police near the Adityapur Kharkai Bridge on Friday. During the course of their checks, law enforcement personnel intercepted a Honda Activa scooter. Upon conducting a thorough search of the vehicle, they uncovered thirty litres of illegal country liquor concealed within it.
Prompt action ensued, with the police promptly seizing both the illicit liquor and the Honda Activa scooter. Additionally, the scooter driver, identified as Chetan Mandal, was taken into custody in connection with the illicit possession. Mandal hails from Dhatkidih in the Gamharia police station area.
