Jamshedpur Workers College: Seminar on Netaji’s legacy marks Subhash Chandra Bose’s birth anniversary

Jamshedpur: The History Department of Jamshedpur Workers College celebrated Subhash Chandra Bose’s birth anniversary on January 22, 2025, by organizing an insightful seminar. Dr. Sweekriti, Assistant Professor at the college, served as the keynote speaker, shedding light on the various facets of Netaji’s life and his unparalleled contributions to India’s freedom struggle.

The seminar began with Principal Dr. S.P. Mahalik lighting the ceremonial lamp. Addressing the audience, Dr. Mahalik emphasized, “Netaji’s indomitable spirit and vision continue to inspire generations. Understanding his journey is essential for every Indian.”

Head of the History Department, Prof. Arvind Kumar Sahu, along with faculty members Dr. Shweta Kumari and Dr. Nutan Rani, actively participated in the event. Other attendees included Professor Subhash Chandra Das, Dr. Anil Kumar Pathak and Professor Kumari Priyanka, alongside students and staff.

The program concluded with a call to emulate Netaji’s ideals of courage and selflessness. “Subhash Chandra Bose’s story teaches us to prioritize the nation above all,” remarked Dr. Sweekriti.
