Jamshedpur: Dr. Suman Kumari, Head of the Department of Chemistry, delivered a lecture on blood doping and altitude training as part of a lecture series at Jamshedpur Workers College. She explained the adverse health effects of doping while highlighting the potential performance benefits of altitude training for athletes.
Principal Dr. S.P. Mahalik addressed the session, emphasizing the importance of health, discipline and perseverance for success. “There is no substitute for hard work. A healthy mind resides in a healthy body,” he remarked, urging students to exercise daily alongside their academic pursuits.
The program, conducted by Dr. Shobha Muwal from the Department of Geography, saw active participation from faculty heads and students across various disciplines. The initiative aligns with the New Education Policy, encouraging interdisciplinary learning.
