Jamshedpur, September 21: IQAC of Jamshedpur Women’s University welcomed Dr E. Balagurusamy, academic advisor to Governor of Jharkhand and Dr. Sanjeev Rai, OSD, Education, in a program of invited lectures focused on quality education.
They expressed satisfaction that JWU VC Dr Anjila Gupta has made significant progress and efforts in providing excellence in education, curricular activities and extra-curricular achievements to the students.
Sanjeev Rai, in his address spoke on quality education, which should be a blend of field experience and classroom experience along with technical expertise to meet the needs of today’s generation.
DrBalagurusamy, is a scholarly connoisseur of national and international repute and an academician with innumerable awards and recognitions. In his address, Balagurusamy emphasized on the revival and moral qualities of the students and teachers.
He stressed the need for women empowerment. In his address he focused on the need for moral courage, creativity and interest and said that it is important to learn to ‘ask questions’.
Dr Anjila Gupta in her address enumerated the university’s research road map, infrastructural development, social responsibility of the university and its achievements despite the limited number of teachers. The aim of the university is to realize the holistic development of the students.
