New Session Orientation on August 1; Regular Classes to Begin August 3
Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur Women’s University has released its admission schedule for the Undergraduate (UG) Academic Session 2026-30 and Vocational Session 2026-29. The online application process commenced on May 12 via the Chancellor Portal.
Key Dates and Admission Timeline
Aspiring students must complete their applications through the official portal (https://universities.jharkhand.gov.in) by the deadline of June 12, 2026. Following the application phase, the university will release three merit lists to fill the seats:

Admission Criteria and Selection Process
The university administration clarified that selection will prioritize candidates who appeared for the CUET (Common University Entrance Test). However, if seats remain vacant after counselling CUET candidates, the university will grant admissions based on Class 12 (Plus Two) marks.

Located at the Sidhgora Campus, the university is witnessing significant enthusiasm among students for the upcoming session. To ensure a smooth transition into university life, the administration has scheduled a formal orientation program on August 1, followed by the start of regular academic sessions on August 3.
