Jamshedpur Women’s University team to participate in 38th AIU East Zone Youth Festival in Kolkata

Jamshedpur, January 4: A team of 25 students and faculty members from Jamshedpur Women’s University will leave for Kolkata on January 7 to participate in the 38th All India University (AIU) East Zone Youth Festival, organized by Sister Nivedita University. The event will take place from January 8 to 12.

Under the guidance of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Anjila Gupta, the team is being led by Dr. Kishwar Ara, Dean of Student Welfare, and Dr. Sanatan Deep, Chairman of Sports and Culture. The students will compete in 11 different categories, including group song, folk dance, group dance, debate, skit, mime, and solo singing.

The various performances are being directed by faculty members, with Dr. Sanatan Deep directing the group song, Sudha Deep handling the folk and group dance, Dr. Pushpa Kumari overseeing debate and allocation, Dr. Shalini Prasad directing skit and mime, and Dr. Rajshree guiding solo singing.

The participating students include Anmol Pari Mishra, Arpita Das, Varsha Pati, and others, with faculty members Sanatan Deep, Sudha Deep, Rajshree, and Preeti accompanying the group.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Anjila Gupta wished the students success, expressing pride in their achievements across various fields.
