Jamshedpur, March 22: The achievement of students from Jamshedpur Women’s University (JWU) in securing placements in Yokohama, Gujarat, has been lauded by the institution. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Anjila Gupta congratulated the successful students, highlighting the significance of their accomplishments in bringing prestige to the university and empowering young women through such opportunities.
The placement drive, held on March 21, 2024, witnessed the participation of 324 girl students, out of which 89 underwent interviews. Ultimately, 50 students were selected for employment opportunities in Gujarat. Special emphasis was placed on providing women with unique job prospects during the recruitment process.
The event saw the presence of HR Director of Yokohama Gujarat, Placement Coordinator Dr. Ratna Mitra, Dr. Kamini Kumari, and Dr. Chhagan Agarwal, who facilitated the smooth conduct of the placement activities.
