Jamshedpur Women’s University screens films by students of Journalism and Communication Department

Jamshedpur, July 6: Third-year students from the Journalism and Communication Department of Jamshedpur Women’s University (JWU) showcased their films in a screening event held at the university. The event was chaired by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Anjila Gupta. The chief guest on the occasion was Rahul Amin from the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arka Jain University.

The students presented their films under the guidance and direction of Shalini Prasad, a faculty member of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication. The films covered various themes, including awareness for voting, the beauty of Chhath Puja, and the existence of women.

Vice Chancellor Dr. Gupta and the chief guest offered numerous suggestions to the students regarding their work and future projects. They praised the students’ films and provided insights into various career options in journalism and communication, along with tips on effective film directing. The event highlighted the students’ talents and abilities, encouraging them to understand and portray societal concepts and different aspects of life on screen.

At the conclusion of the program, the chief guest wished the students a bright future and extended hearty congratulations on their graduation.
