Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur Women’s University has started the admission process for undergraduate courses for the new academic session. The university administration has announced the schedule for admissions to the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (2026–30) and UG vocational courses (2026–29).
Interested students can apply online through the Chancellor Portal, with June 12 set as the last date for submission of applications. The university has urged applicants not to wait until the deadline and to complete the process at the earliest. Candidates will be required to produce original documents during verification.
According to the university schedule, orientation for newly admitted students will be held on August 1, while regular classes will commence from August 3, reflecting the institution’s preparedness to begin the academic session on time.
The university clarified that preference in admissions will be given to candidates possessing CUET scores. However, students who did not appear for the national-level entrance examination can also apply on the basis of their Class 12 marks. Their admissions will be considered subject to the availability of vacant seats.
The provision comes as a major relief for many students who were unable to appear for the CUET examination for various reasons.
