Jamshedpur Women’s University Marks Constitution Day with Pledge and Awareness Programs

Jamshedpur, Nov 26: Jamshedpur Women’s University (JWU) celebrated Constitution Day with programs held at both its Bistupur and Sidhgora campuses on Wednesday. The event was jointly organized by the Political Science Department and the NSS unit in the Audio Visual Hall of the Bistupur campus.

Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Ajila Gupta, under whose guidance the event was organized, extended her greetings and said that the Constitution upholds the values of equality and fraternity for every citizen.

At the Bistupur campus, Dean of Student Welfare Dr. Kishwar Ara administered the Constitutional Pledge to teachers, non-teaching staff, and students. At the Sidhgora campus, Registrar Dr. Salomi Kujur led the pledge ceremony.

In her address, Dr. Kishwar Ara highlighted the significance of the Constitution in guiding the nation. Registrar Dr. Salomi Kujur emphasized that the Constitution inspires the principles of freedom, equality, and fraternity.

Dr. Abhay Kant from the Political Science Department explained the deeper meaning behind each word of the Constitution, helping students understand its essence.

Faculty members, NSS coordinators, staff, and a large number of students from various departments attended the program.
