Jamshedpur, July 11: Jamshedpur Women’s University (JWU) and Manipal Tata Medical College (MTMC), a constituent unit of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today to enhance academic cooperation, community outreach, and research collaboration. The MoU exchange ceremony was held at the university campus in the presence of senior academic officials from both institutions.
The program was graced by the Vice Chancellor of JWU, Professor Dr. Anjila Gupta; former Dean and Advisor of MTMC, Dr. Pradeep Kumar; current Dean and Professor of OBG at MTMC, Dr. Harish Chandra Bandhu; Registrar of JWU, Dr. Rajendra Kumar Jaiswal; Controller of Examinations and Head of Home Science, Dr. Rama Subramanian; and other distinguished faculty members.
Professor Dr. Anjila Gupta congratulated both institutions on this collaborative initiative and expressed her optimism for a fruitful partnership. Dr. Pradeep Kumar and Dr. Harish Chandra Bandhu also extended their best wishes, highlighting the potential of the MoU to strengthen faculty exchange, interdisciplinary research, and public health outreach programs.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Ratna Mitra, IQAC Director, JWU. The ceremony was attended by university faculty members including Dr. Saloni Kujur, Dr. Annapurna Jha, Dr. Kamini, Dr. Amrita Kumari, Dr. Pushpa Kumari, Dr. Sanatan Deep, Dr. Pushpalatha, and Mrs. Sanchita Guha.
This MoU marks a significant step towards creating new opportunities for innovation, collaboration, and academic excellence between the two institutions.
