Jamshedpur, October 7: IQAC Cell organized a workshop on ‘NAAC Accreditation Process-Opportunities and Challenges’ at Jamshedpur Women’s University.
The workshop was presided over by vice chancellor of the varsity Anjila Gupta.
Resource person Manjushree Gupta underlined the importance of NAAC and said that NAAC accreditation is the trademark of quality education of universities. Students get to know in which institutions the best practices are going on and where they will get quality education after enrolment.
She further said that besides, NAAC accreditation is also necessary for funding of institutions. She first explained the step-by-step process through a flow chart and presented the seven criteria to the faculty of the university. Explaining each criteria in detail through PPT, she cautioned that the responsibility of meeting the criteria is not only of the IQAC cell, but of all the departments, officers and employees of the institute.
She said in just one year of its establishment, Jamshedpur Women’s University is not only working as per NAAC but is also paying attention to documentation.
In the presidential address, Anjila Gupta congratulated all the officers, professors and professors for working as per the requirements of NAAC since the beginning of the University and for smoothly conducting all kinds of activities in future also.
