Jamshedpur Women’s University celebrates Breastfeeding Week

Jamshedpur: In honor of World Breastfeeding Week, the Home Science Department of Jamshedpur Women’s University has organized a series of engaging activities to raise awareness about breastfeeding. The celebrations commenced with a slogan competition themed ‘Bridging the Gap: Supporting Breastfeeding for All,’ which saw enthusiastic participation from 40 students.

On the second day, the focus shifted to a poster competition, where students from various university faculties created eye-catching and informative posters related to the same theme. The poster entries were both creative and educational, reflecting the importance of breastfeeding.

Looking ahead, an extempore competition is scheduled for the third day of the week’s activities, continuing the university’s commitment to promoting breastfeeding awareness and support.
