Jamshedpur Women’s Club felicitates women achievers

Jamshedpur, March 8: Jamshedpur Women’s Club celebrated International Women’s Day at hotel center point on Wednesday.

Series of events were held on the occasion including dance performances, ramp walk where ladies were dressed in a traditional wear portraying different states of India.

The Club members felicitated several women achievers including Anamika Majumdar, Laxmi who has been running a dhaba (food joint) on NH-33, NML Scientist Mita Tarafder and Prerna Todi.

On the occasion Club’s founder Reena Anil Vedagiri along with other women members were present. The club has been celebrating the International Women’s Day since 2012 every year to felicitate the lady achievers and to celebrate the spirit of being a woman.

Jamshedpur Women�s Club is a group exclusively for women’s of Jamshedpur to connect, empower and support other women of the same city.

Main target of this group would be to increase awareness and exposure to a lot of issues where we as a women as a mother, may require guidance because motherhood is a journey where we get to learn something new, every single day & considering the potential and talent that we have we should be updated with the best and latest.
