Jamshedpur, July 3: Under the leadership of BJP leader Vikas Singh, tribal women living near the closed middle school in Mango Ulidih of Jamshedpur narrated their ordeal at the Ulidih police station.
The women told that illegal drugs are sold openly in the closed school. Along with Ganja, Heroin, Charas, brown sugar and illegal liquor, daily lotteries are being sold indiscriminately.
Women also allege that they were harassed by the anti-social elements loitering in the closed school.
The women said that when it gets dark, girls also starts coming to that place. They claimed that several complaints have been made at the police station but no action has been taken.
Two days ago, the police had arrested the youths after going to the spot, but only after a few minutes, they were caught selling drug. The youths were released, due to which their morale increased further.
The police officers present in the police station gave their mobile numbers to the women and said that they will inform about illegal business anytime within 24 hours. In five minutes, the district administration will reach there and take appropriate action.
