Jamshedpur, July 8: Sankosai Road # 1 resident Ambika Pramanik who is a daily wager who had gone to see the Rath Yatra was seriously injured when, due to the rush, she fell down and the wheel of the chariot ran over her leg. The police and people rushed her to Ganga Memorial Hospital. She is a diabetic. After medication, her sugar level was brought down to normal and through the Ayushman Yojna, she was successfully operated upon on July 5 for treatment of her fractured leg. Ambika Pramanik will be discharged from Ganga Memorial Hospital on Saturday. The team that performed the surgery included Dr N Singh, Dr Dilip Kumar, Dr Rudra Pratap and Dr Suraj Kumar.
