Jamshedpur woman dies mysteriously, FIR against husband, in-laws

Jamshedpur, Dec 24: A married woman, identified as Namrata Sharma, died under mysterious circumstances in her matrimonial house at Ramjanam Nagar, Kadma on Friday. Her father, Manoj Kumar Sharma, found her lying dead in her house around 6 pm. He accused his son-in-law Deep Narayan Sharma and his in-laws of having killed his daughter for dowry. He said his daughter was married on 21^st November 2021. Soon after marriage, Deep Narayan and his family members allegedly started torturing Namrata for dowry. Yesterday, Deep Sharma informed his father-in-law that Namrata had committed suicide. Kadma police have lodged an FIR against the accused persons and begun a probe into the incident.
