Jamshedpur woman dies after consuming spurious liquor

Jamshedpur, May 28: Pushpa Sardar, a 48-year-old resident living near the Shiva temple in zone number three under Birsanagar police station, has passed away. The lifeless body of Pushpa was discovered in her house on Sunday morning. Living alone, Pushpa’s neighbors immediately informed her relatives about the unfortunate incident.

Upon receiving the news, the relatives rushed to the scene and alerted the police. The authorities promptly sent the deceased’s body for post-mortem examination. In their initial findings, the police have attributed the cause of death to excessive alcohol consumption.

Mahabir, Pushpa’s nephew, revealed that his aunt resided alone at home, as her husband had passed away and they had no children. Pushpa worked as a laborer to sustain herself and would often indulge in consuming country liquor near her residence after returning from work. This was her daily routine. This morning, the neighbors informed Mahabir that Pushpa had passed away. When he arrived at the scene, he found her lifeless body lying on the ground. Mahabir speculates that his aunt’s demise may have been a result of excessive alcohol consumption. However, the conclusive details will be revealed once the post-mortem report is made available.
