Jamshedpur: A 25-year-old woman Gudiya Singh Sardar, a resident of Kumrum Basti, below Tola, under Mango police station area of Jamshedpur, committed suicide by hanging herself in her house.
There was no one in the house at the time of the incident.
The incident is of Monday. It is said that Gudiya Singh Sardar’s mother Lakshmi Singh Sardar returned home after doing wages in the evening and the door was locked from inside. A teenager from the neighborhood was sent inside through a big hole in the wall and saw Gudiya Singh Sardar’s dead body was hanging from the noose.
The information of the incident was given to the police. The police reached the spot and took the body into custody and sent it for postmortem.
Gudiya Singh Sardar got married a year ago in Adityapur. She had come to her maternal home from her in-laws’ house only on Sunday. It is told that after getting the information about the incident, her husband Bablu from Adityapur also reached Kumrum Basti.
