Babulal Marandi nomination last nail in BJP’s coffin: JMM

Ranchi, July 4: JMM central committee has decided mobilise party cadres ahead of Lok Sabha and assembly elections in a big way.

After the  JMM central working committee meeting held at Ranchi on Tuesday, party spokesperson Vinod Pandey informed media that JMM is in the role of elder brother in Jharkhand coalition government and it was decided that it should get the big brother’s right during seat sharing for the polls.

“The final decision on seat sharing will be taken by the central leaders of the alliance party sitting among themselves,” said Pandey.

He told that that meeting discussed preparation for Lok Sabha elections, Dumri by-election (necessitated after death of cabinet minister Jagarnath Mahato) and strengthening  the organization at various level.

In the meeting, party central president and Rajya Sabha MP Shibu Soren instructed all the district presidents to make the organization strong at every booth, every panchayat and every district. The membership campaign being run by the party, in which the target is to make 50 lakh members, should be completed within the stipulated time limit.

In view of the Dumri by-election, party president Shibu Soren has instructed Bokaro district to form a committee at the booth level within a month. Party leaders and workers have been instructed to immediately travel to the area and start preparing for the Dumri by-election.

In the meeting, leaders and workers have been instructed to take the schemes of the government to the masses. It was said that the government has done many such works, which have directly benefited the common man and the poor. The government also aims that the benefits of the schemes should reach the last person.

“But somewhere, there is definitely a shortcoming, so everyone has to work together to take the benefit of the schemes to the last person. So that the good work of the government can be propagated in the right direction,’ said Pandey.

Addressing the meeting, the party’s central president Shibu Soren said that we often hold meetings of the central committee, district committee, block committee. But not everyone can participate in it. Everyone’s participation is necessary in order to strengthen the organization. When the organization is strong, then only we will be strong, the government will be strong.

Addressing the meeting, party working president and Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that the party has entrusted me with the responsibility. I am trying my best to fulfill it. In such adverse situation created by the Central government we can deal with it only by strengthening the organization. Organization is the real strength of the government.

On Babulal Marandi nomination as BJP state president, Vinod Pandey said that it hardly made any difference for JMM and that it was the last nail in the coffin of BJP.
