Jamshedpur, July 16: Water supply from Chhota Govindpur Rural Water Supply Scheme will remain closed from 19 to 22 July.
In this regard, the Executive Engineer has issued a notice. According to the notice, repair of main pipeline leakage will be done under Chhota Govindpur Rural Water Supply Scheme. Due to this, the water supply in the area will be disrupted. Water supply will be done every day after the work is over.
At the same time, a complaint was made in this regard in the Janata Darbar of the Deputy Commissioner. After this, the Deputy Commissioner had ordered the departmental officers to execute the problem immediately.
For this, a four-member team was formed under the chairmanship of SDO Dhalbhum.
Rahargoda resident Deepak Kumar said that Chhota Govindpur water supply scheme is suffering from problems even after five years. Under Chhota Govindpur water supply scheme, water was to be supplied to 127 villages of 23 panchayats of Jamshedpur block area. Due to this, drinking water is supplied to a population of about three lakhs.
