Jamshedpur voters to get discount at PM Mall Food Court, jewelery showrooms

Jamshedpur Businessmen announce huge discounts to encourage voting

Jamshedpur: In a significant push to boost voter turnout, prominent businessmen in Jamshedpur have announced substantial discounts to encourage participation in the upcoming elections. The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) Jamshedpur unit, spearheaded by National Secretary  Suresh Sonthalia, has launched a voter awareness campaign aimed at increasing urban voter engagement for the fifth phase of voting on May 25.

During a meeting with local business leaders,  Sonthalia emphasized the need to address the traditionally lower voter turnout in urban areas compared to rural regions. He called on all city voters to actively participate in what he described as the “world’s biggest democratic festival,” aiming for record voting numbers for the Jamshedpur Lok Sabha seat.

Sonthalia specifically urged business owners to ensure that everyone in their network, including family, friends, and employees, votes. “This time, let’s all come together to achieve record voting in Jamshedpur,” he said.

Bharat Vasani appealed to the thousands of traders in Jamshedpur with a clear message: “Vote first and then shop.” He encouraged traders to prioritize voting and mobilize their families, employees, and neighbors to do the same before starting their business activities on voting day.

Kishore Golchha, echoed this sentiment, pledging a 100% turnout from the business community. He reassured voters that all basic facilities would be in place at polling stations and that various programs were being organized to raise voter awareness and increase the voting percentage.

To incentivize voting, various traders and associations have announced attractive offers: Jamshedpur Jewelers Association: Discounts on making charges for gold jewelry, with Chhaganlal Dayaljee, Keshavji Chhaganlal, and Kuldeep & Sons Bistupur Jewelry Sakchi offering a 25% discount.

Bistupur Havells Galaxy: A 4% discount on all fans and mixer grinders. Sakchi Bata Chowk Pehchan: A 10% discount on children’s wear. Shrestam Hotel: Free breakfast and cold drinks for the first 21 customers after voting.

PM Mall Food Court: Various discounts including Pizza Hut’s buy one get one free, Domino’s combo offer for ₹99, and discounts ranging from 10% to 20% at several eateries such as Chinese Delight, KFC, MBA Chai Wala, and more.

Dilip Golchha and Piyush Chaudhary from CAT clarified that these discounts would be available only to those who vote and show their inked fingers as proof. This initiative is designed to ensure that the community takes their civic responsibility seriously.

Jaichand Jaiswal and Vinod Sharma of Laghu Udyog Bharti appealed to all entrepreneurs to vote and encouraged them to remind family members, including those abroad, to participate. Mahesh Sonthalia and Sanwar Sharma stressed that May 25 should be viewed not as a regular day but as a day of responsibility for every citizen.

By linking economic incentives to civic participation, Jamshedpur’s business community aims to significantly enhance voter turnout and ensure that every eligible voter contributes to the democratic process.
