Jamshedpur Utkal Association felicitates Odiya teachers

Jamshedpur, Sept 6: Odiya teachers were felicitated at a programme organized organised in the Utkal Association auditorium to celebrate Teachers’ Day. Members present observed two minutes’ silence in memory of Dr Jagdish Chandra Tripathy, a senior member of Utkal Association and former President of Utkal Sammelani Dr Guru Prasad Mahanty.

The programme was chaired by Utkal Association’s Vice President Badal Bhuinya. Trustee and Senior Advocate Manoranjan Dash, President Dr Sridhar Pradhan, General Secretary Tarun Kumar Mohanty, Joint Secretary Vibhuti Bhushan Mohanty and XLRI Professor Dr Sunil Sarangi were present on the occasion. Senior Vice President of the Association Dr Sanjay Patra was felicitated on his being made Dean (Academic) of XLRI. He was present a shawl, bouquet and certificate as tokens of love and respect. Odia scholars of the city were also honored on the occasion. The Principal of Baharagora College Dr Balkrishna Behera, Headmaster of Golmuri Utkal Samaj High School Abani Dutta, Principal of Dayanand Public School Dr Swarna Mishra, Principal R H Foundation L H S School Sundernagar Dr Manjulata Samanta Roy, Chairman Vivekananda Shishu Vikas School Dr Sanjay Giri and Jamshedpur Women’s University’s Dr Manoj Mahapatra were honoured with shawls and bouquets.

Utkal Association’s Joint Secretary Vibhuti Bhushan Mohanty offered the vote of thanks.
