Jamshedpur, July 18: Two Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leaders were injured in a fight in Shankarpur locality of Parsudih late Sunday night. One of them, Mithun Chakravarty, sustained fracture in both his hands after being allegedly attacked with a rod. The other, Tinku Gope, also sustained serious injuries in the incident and was taken to MGM Hospital.
Gope alleged that Mithun and his supporters beat him up around 9.30 pm and forced him to drink sanitizer. He said the accused also assaulted him in the chamber of the officer in-charge of Parsudih PS.
Mithun on the other hand alleged that Gope was fighting with one Nitin and that he attacked him when he tried to intervene.
