Jamshedpur: Two hurt in group assault

Jamshedpur, May 16: Two persons, identified as Ankit Yadav and Mohammad Reyan, were reportedly assaulted by a group of 10-15 youths at Vinoba Bhave Ashram under Burmamines police station area on Monday. They sustained injuries in the incident and were taken to MGM Hospital. They said the assailants from the Ram Basti of Burmamines.

Cops said the victims were taking some narcotic substances when the group of assailants approached them and attacked them with canes and sharp weapons. They said they were trying to identify the accused presons. Some of the culprits have been identified as Ritik Karmakar, Shiva Karmakar, Vishal and Sanju.
