Jamshedpur: Two get life term in Kadma loot-murder case

Jamshedpur, Nov 26: The court of Additional District and Sessions Judge IV Rajendra Kumar Sinha sentenced two persons, Jitendra Kumar Singh and Mohammad Danish, to life imprisonment for killing Nazneen Parvez of Kadma. It also imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 on each of them.

The case dates back to 4^th October 2014 when Nazneen, resident of Road No.3, BH Area, Kadma, had gone out on morning walk with her neighbour Ajara alias Yashmi around 5 am. On their return, the accused persons approached them on a scooty and tried to snatch gold chain from Nazneen. When the victim resisted, they shot her down. She was taken to Tata Main Hospital where she was declared dead.

Police later arrested the accused persons and recovered the scooty used in the crime. A total of nine persons had testified against the accused persons in the court.
