Jamshedpur, Jan 6: Adityapur police here on Friday arrested two persons from Muslim Basti and confiscated 300 packets of brown sugar from their possession. Those arrested were identified as Wakil Ansari and Rajkumar Lohra.
Police officials said the arresting was made during a raid conducted at H Road in Muslim Basti on the basis of a tip-off. The total estimated market price of the seized brown sugar is around Rs 80,000. The police team was led by the officer-in-charge of Adityapur police station, Rajan Kumar. The raid is being seen as a big success of Seraikela-Kharsawan police against local drug pedlars.
