Jamshedpur, March 23: A speeding Hyva truck rammed into a roadside shop on the Tata-Ranchi National Highway late yesterday night. One person was injured in the incident. In another incident, a truck collided with a stationary trailer truck parked near Chilgu around 1 am. The front part of the truck was damaged in the incident and its driver got stuck in his cabin. The driver was somehow rescued and sent to hospital.
Police removed the mangled vehicles with the help of cranes. In the first incident, a truck carrying sand rammed into a mobile phone shop. Goods worth Rs 5 lakh were damaged in the incident, said the shop owner Deepak Kumar Dandpat.
