Jamshedpur: Tributes to Lala Lajpat Rai on his Martyrdom Day 

Jamshedpur: On the occasion of the martyrdom day of the great freedom fighter Lala Lajpat Rai, the leading social organization “Naman” organized a tribute program at its office. Distinguished guests, women, and youth gathered to honor Lala Lajpat Rai by offering floral tributes to his portrait and reflecting on his life and contributions.

The event’s chief guest, *Naman* patron and senior journalist Brijbhushan Singh, highlighted Lala Lajpat Rai’s unparalleled contribution to India’s freedom struggle. “Lala ji dedicated his life to fighting British oppression. His sacrifice showed that freedom requires not just physical resistance but also mental and cultural rejuvenation,” Singh said. He urged everyone to draw inspiration from Lala Lajpat Rai’s ideals, emphasizing his bravery, leadership, and commitment to society.

Sardar Balwinder Singh emphasized the need for today’s youth to follow the path shown by Lala Lajpat Rai. “By adhering to his principles, we can fulfill our duties toward the nation and work for societal change,” he remarked. He also lauded *Naman* for its efforts to educate people about the sacrifices of India’s revolutionaries.

The event featured speeches by several notable attendees, including Uttar Pradesh Sangh’s Ramkeval Mishra and senior journalist Raghvendra Sharma. Representatives of youth organizations and social activists also paid homage to Lala Lajpat Rai, recalling his contributions to India’s freedom movement.

The program was hosted by Jugun Pandey, with a vote of thanks delivered by Pappu Rao.
