Jamshedpur: Tributes to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on 133rd Birth Anniversary

Jamshedpur, April 14: Members of the Mukhi Samaj commemorated the 133rd birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr B R Ambedkar at Burmamines by offering floral tributes at his statue. Led by Hari Mukhi, President of Central Mukhi Samaj, a garland was placed at the statue as a mark of respect. The occasion saw the community members garlanding the statue with chants of ‘Jai Bhim,’ honoring Dr. Ambedkar’s contributions as the architect of the Indian Constitution and a pivotal figure of his time.

Speaking on the significance of the day, President Hari Mukhi emphasized Dr. Ambedkar’s role not only in shaping the Constitution but also as an exemplary figure revered by the Dalit community. Executive President and Bhalubasa chief Paresh Mukhi highlighted Dr. Ambedkar’s multifaceted persona, acknowledging his contributions as a politician, historian, and economist.

The event, marked as a festival day for the Dalit community, underscored the enduring legacy of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar in championing social uplift and equality.
