Jamshedpur, July 13: Members of Jamshedpur Truck Trailer Owners Union staged a demonstration before Jamshedpur Collectorate to protest against ban on the entry of heavy vehicles with national permit into the city.

The outfit members alleged that the transport department had stopped heavy vehicles having national permit from entering the city. Trucks, especially those registered in Nagaland, are being stopped and their owners are being made to pay heavy penalty, said the agitators.

The outfit members said they would organize a massive agitation in Ranchi in case the state government did not withdraw its decision.
