Jamshedpur, May 5: In a thoughtful gesture to alleviate the challenges faced by traffic police personnel amid scorching temperatures, umbrellas, pitchers, and towels were distributed among them at various intersections across the city. The distribution drive, held at the CCR campus on Sunday, was jointly organized by the Jamshedpur Police and the social organization Mitra Healthy Humanity.
SSP Kishore Kaushal graced the event as the chief guest and personally handed out the sun protection materials to the traffic police personnel from all stations. Expressing his appreciation for the dedicated efforts of the traffic police in ensuring smooth traffic flow despite the harsh weather conditions, SSP Kaushal emphasized the importance of safeguarding their health.
Acknowledging the relentless commitment of traffic police personnel who brave the sun’s heat during their duty hours, SSP Kaushal commended the initiative undertaken by the Jamshedpur Police and Mitra Healthy Humanity to provide them with essential sun protection gear.
The success of the program was attributed to the collaborative efforts of various stakeholders, including social worker Ashu Dodrajka, whose contributions played a significant role in its execution.
Among the dignitaries present at the event were City SP Mukesh Kumar Lunayat, Traffic DSP Sanjay Kumar, Prabhat Kumar from Mitra Sanstha, as well as Rakesh Prasad, Adarsh Verma, Ayush Kant, Devendra Kumar, and Chandrashekhar.
