Jamshedpur, Jan 15: Traffic department is continuing with its no parking campaign in Jamshedpur. East Singhbhum Traffic DSP is leading the drive against parking of vehicles in no parking zones specially in Sakchi and Bistupur.
On Friday, Traffic DSP launched drive on the main road near district collectorate office and fined several vehicle owners who had parked vehicles on the road. Many a time people park their vehicles on the main road despite parking lots made by JNAC and Jusco.
Parking near the roads leads to traffic jams and people face harrowing time. Traffic DSP has appealed the citizens to follow the rules and park vehicles in parking spaces else the traffic department will be forced to launch such drives.
