Jamshedpur: Due to severe waterlogging caused by continuous heavy rainfall, a section of NH-33 near Pardih Chowk has been completely damaged, rendering it impassable for vehicular movement. As a result, the route for heavy vehicles entering or exiting Jamshedpur has been diverted until further notice or until the damaged stretch is repaired.
Revised routes are as follows:
For vehicles coming from Baharagora and Ghatshila: Take the alternate route via Surda Crossing (Maubhandar underpass) → Surda Chowk (Musabani-Haata main road) → Haata Chowk → Jamshedpur Railway Station → Adityapur/Kadma Toll Bridge or Dobo New Bridge → towards Ranchi.

For vehicles coming from Ranchi: Follow the route via Kandra → Adityapur → Tatanagar Railway Station → Haata Chowk → Surda Chowk (Musabani-Haata main road) → Surda Crossing (Maubhandar underpass) → towards Ghatshila and Baharagora.

Authorities have advised transporters and drivers to follow the diverted routes strictly to avoid congestion and ensure safety.
