Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur Chamber of Commerce members came out in support of the ongoing campaign against polythene launched in the city by the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee.
Led by the outfit president Mohan Lal Agrawal, the traders held banners and placards with messages against use of polythene. The traders met Sanjay Kumar, Special Officer, JNAC, and assured to support him in the campaign against polythene.
Chamber general secretary Prabhakar Singh requested the JNAC to hold special camps at various places to issue trade licence to traders and also demanded reduction in fine amount imposed on traders found using polythene.
